My Story

Axel is a multilingual HR professional with a dynamic mindset and a deep passion for working with people. Raised bilingual in Dutch and German, and fluent in English, he brings a naturally international perspective to HR/recruitment. Known for his sharp learning ability and strong interpersonal skills, Axel has consistently shown an ability to connect talent with opportunity—both in corporate settings and public sector environments. His strength lies in translating strategic HR needs into meaningful actions that support career growth and organizational development.

With hands-on experience as an HR Advisor at the Municipality of Haarlem, Axel played a key role in advising mid- and senior-level management on recruitment strategies, crafting inclusive campaigns, and managing end-to-end hiring processes. He led initiatives in diversity and inclusion, co-created external recruitment campaigns with consulting agencies, and sourced niche profiles through LinkedIn. His role also included onboarding processes, CV screenings, offer negotiations, and systems implementation—proving his capacity to run recruitment operations with confidence and precision.

Axel also brings valuable expertise from his work with international employment services through UWV/EURES, where he coached job seekers across the EU in finding career opportunities. He organized workshops, job fairs, and network events in Hungary, Norway, and the Netherlands, strengthening both employer and candidate relationships across borders. His time at UWV Amsterdam further sharpened his skills in labor market analysis, candidate coaching, and workshop development for job-seeking professionals.

Earlier in his career, Axel gained full-cycle recruitment experience at agencies such as Adecco, MiddlePoint and Bouwpartners, managing portfolios of up to 30 employees and 20 clients. He excelled at contract negotiations, payroll processing, and stakeholder communication, while maintaining hands-on involvement in candidate sourcing and client acquisition. With additional roles in maritime staffing and in-house consulting, Axel’s well-rounded track record and personable approach set a strong foundation for a recruitment business built on expertise, trust, and results.
